Job Description: Management Trainee
Position Overview:
As a Management Trainee, you will play a pivotal role in driving business development efforts and supporting client engagements. You will be involved in various activities including prospect presentations via cold calls, industry research, lead generation, networking, event organization, email campaigns, and account-based marketing. Under the mentorship of experienced consultants, you will contribute to the growth and success of our firm by identifying opportunities, building relationships, and delivering value to clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct prospect presentations via meetings and calls to introduce services, identify client needs, and schedule meetings with potential clients for further discussions.
- Perform industrial survey and market research to gain insights into market trends, competitive landscapes, and emerging opportunities, supporting business development initiatives and client engagements.
- Generate leads for specific products or services by identifying target markets, profiling potential clients, and qualifying leads based on predefined criteria.
- Network with industry associates, attend networking events, and participate in professional associations to expand our firm’s reach, build partnerships, and cultivate business opportunities.
- Organize talks, seminars, and workshops in associations or industry forums to showcase our expertise, share insights, and establish thought leadership in relevant domains.
- Support email marketing campaigns by developing content, creating email lists, and analyzing campaign performance metrics to optimize engagement and conversion rates.
- Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to implement account-based marketing strategies, tailoring messaging and outreach efforts to specific target accounts and key decision-makers.
- Assist in the development of marketing collateral, such as brochures, presentations, and case studies, to support business development efforts and client communication.
- Track and analyze the effectiveness of lead generation activities, networking efforts, and marketing campaigns, providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
- Participate in client meetings, presentations, and project discussions to observe client interactions, understand client needs, and contribute to the development of solutions and recommendations.
- You can be deployed at the client side to potentially work on-site with clients to provide direct support, gather feedback, and address any issues or concerns in real-time as per the project deployment terms.
- You can further be deployed in any firm which is tied up with us through PBTA, matches the job roles with your qualifications and goals while you complete your internship under the supervision of the company’s mentor.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Commerce or Business Administration (any stream like Marketing, HR, Finance, systems) or certifications in the related fields. Candidates pursuing Master’s Degree in the same field can also apply.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to articulate ideas persuasively and build rapport with clients and industry stakeholders.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to conduct research, analyze data, and derive actionable insights to support decision-making.
- Proactive attitude with a willingness to take initiative, learn new skills, and contribute to team goals.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and familiarity with CRM systems and automation tools.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Prior experience or coursework in sales, marketing, business development, is preferred but not required.
- Passion for learning, growth, and continuous development in the chosen industry.
