Phase 1: Professional and Functional Learning Development (40 to 60 hours)

Module 1: Core Employability Skills

  • Communication: Effective verbal and written communication, public speaking, active listening.
  • Problem-Solving: Analytical thinking, decision-making, critical thinking.
  • Time Management: Prioritization, task management, efficient use of time.
  • Teamwork: Collaboration, cooperation, conflict resolution.

Module 2: Functional Skills (Basic knowledge across all functional and organizational skills)

Functional Skills:

Technical Skills: Proficiency in relevant data analysis, software, tools, or technologies.
Industry-Specific Knowledge: Understanding of industry trends, regulations, and best practices.
Domain-Specific Skills: Expertise in a particular field or area of specialization.

Professional Development:

Career Planning: Goal setting, resume building, interview preparation.
Networking: Building relationships with professionals in the field.
Mentorship: Guidance and support from experienced professionals.
Industry Exposure: Visits to companies, internships, and practical experience.

Learning Format:

A combination of lectures, document format, case studies, group discussions, and hands-on exercises

Phase 2: Companies Visit (25 visits across multiple industries)

Objective: Expose participants to diverse work environments, industries, and job roles.

Focus:
Understanding industry dynamics, job requirements, and career paths
Identifying potential internship placements
Building professional networks


Phase 3: Practical Work Exposure (5-7 days)

Objective: Provide hands-on experience in a real-world work setting.

Format:
Internships in companies aligned with participants’ interests and career goals
Mentorship from industry professionals
Opportunities to apply theoretical knowledge and develop practical skills


Phase 4: Internship Certification

Upon successful completion of the internship, participants will receive a certification recognizing their achievement.
The certification can be used to enhance their job applications and career prospects.
